With 30 years experience in constructing and managing wetland projects, John Ryan serves as a Managing Partner for Working Lands. In this role, Ryan specializes in developing environmental markets, specifically performing project origination and execution for stream and wetlands mitigation. His work including permitting, design and construction management.
Currently, Ryan serves as president of Land and Water Resources, Inc. (LAWR), creating all conceptual plans for wetland projects, and managing the construction of each. During his time with LAWR, Ryan has developed more than 30 wetland banks, one stream mitigation bank, and additional off-site wetland mitigation projects.
Ryan additionally served as an officer of Ryan Inc. where he oversaw hundreds of construction projects and acted as an estimator for bidding projects.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
